Turmeric Lassi

Mix all ingredients together and blend until smooth. Turmeric contains curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce gut inflammation. Ginger aids digestion and reduces nausea.

Coconut Ladoo

In a non-stick pan, pour the coconut milk and add the grated jaggery or coconut sugar. Cook on medium heat, stirring continuously until the jaggery melts completely.

Once the jaggery has melted, add the desiccated coconut and cardamom powder to the pan. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

Continue to cook the mixture on low heat, stirring frequently, until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly until it is comfortable to handle.

Grease your palms with a little coconut oil, take small portions of the mixture, and roll them into small balls (ladoos).

Roll each ladoo in the extra desiccated coconut to coat them evenly.

If using, press a few chopped nuts into each ladoo for added texture and flavor.

Serve the coconut ladoos immediately or store them in an airtight container for up to a week.

Cabbage Patties

-Blanch outer cabbage leaves in salted boiling water.
-Soak bread in water, wring out, and mix with parsley, salt, pepper, and oil.
-Knead and form bread mixture into patties.
-Cover patties with cabbage leaves and secure with toothpicks.
-Dredge patties in corn flour and cook in a hot oven for 20 minutes.
-Prepare a sauce with garlic, onion, tomato, and remaining cabbage strips.
-Add patties to sauce and cook.
-Serve, removing toothpicks.
-Enjoy these delicious and healthy cabbage patties!
